Murad Karimi is the Founding Partner of Mosaic Investments. Murad is also the CEO of Mosaic Red Hat Group, a multi-unit Arby’s franchisee in Florida and North Carolina and Executive Chairman of Xpress Global Systems, LLC, the largest LTL provider to the floor covering industry. Prior to founding Mosaic in 2010, Murad worked in defense contracting in Kuwait and Dubai. He later went on to manage a large-scale hospitality real estate development in Costa Rica. Since moving back to the U.S. in 2009, Murad has been active in restaurant franchising, real estate investing, and other business acquisitions. Notably, Murad has received recognition as New Franchise Partner of the Year from Moe’s Southwest Grill and highest franchisee sales growth in Florida from Arby’s. Murad received his BBA from George Washington University and his MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School where he currently guest lectures in both undergraduate and graduate finance classes. Murad is an alum of LEAD Atlanta Class of 2016 and is a co-founder of UNICEF NextGen’s Atlanta chapter, where he raises funds and awareness for UNICEF’s work across the globe.
